Annapurna Region - Overview

The incredible Annapurna region is the most differing and prominent trekking territory in Nepal. From the full three-week Annapurna Circuit, which extends into the memorable Mustang region to short three-day treks, there's a trek appropriate for everyone here.

As the name recommends, the center point of this piece of Nepal is the scope of mountains that includes Annapurna I, the first of the 8,000 m tops to be ascended. Additionally included in this region is another 8,000 m mammoth, Dhaulagiri, which is found west of Annapurna I.

Between these two mountains lies the valley of the Kali-Gandaki River, the deepest gorge on the planet.

Views of rich, prolific farmland and undisturbed normal timberland, snow secured mountains, and experiences with a blend of numerous ethnic networks, all signify a different scope of encounters that make this territory a standout amongst the most fulfilling trekking goals in Nepal.

The way that the Annapurna chain of mountains lies inland makes a vast lump of landfall in the rain shadow territory.

Henceforth these parts are extensively drier than the southern slants of the mountains. This prompts unusually assorted scenes and the likelihood of trekking during the rainstorm.
