Day 1 - Picked up from Hotel & sightseeing to Bhaktapur & Patan Durbar Square
After breakfast we will take you for a historical and heritage tour in Kathmandu Valley. A full day sightseeing will take you to Bhaktapur & Patan Durbar Square which are amazing heritage sites.
Patan Durbar Square:
Patan Durbar Square, which lies in the heart of Patan & it was designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Patan Durbar Square is known for famous sites and unique architectures. The ancient palaces, temples and shrines with exquisite carving are scattered around Patan Durbar Square. The major attractions of Patan Durbar Square are the stone temple of Lord Krishna, the Royal Bath with many carvings on stone, Viswanath temple and the temple of Bhimsen with a magnificent golden balcony overlooking the square.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square:
Bhaktapur is referred to as the Living Heritage, City of Culture, An Open Museum and Nepal's Cultural Gem. Bhaktapur is renowned for its colorful festivals, craftsmanship of its locales, beautiful monuments and brilliant handicrafts. The Bhaktapur Durbar Square is one of the most charming places, as it highlights the ancient history of the kings, perched on top of stone monoliths. The main interests of attraction are Lion Gate, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, the Picture Gallery, the Golden Gate, the palaces of 55 windows, the Batsala temple and the bell of barking dog etc.
