Dolpo region situated in the Northern Western part of Nepal in the midst of Tibetan Plateau and the Mt. Dhaulagiri Himalayan range. Dolpo arbitrarily divided into a Lower (Outer) and Upper (Inner) region and occupies a whopping 15% of the country’s total area & is the largest Nepalese district. Dolpo is one of those rare places on earth that has preserved its natural and cultural beauty in their oldest and purest forms.
The Dolpo region sustains an isolated wilderness with an abundance of wildlife, snow-capped peaks, hidden valleys, crystal blue sky and untouched cultural Dolpopa people.
